Sir Rod Stewart, one of the best-selling artists in the history of recorded music, and one of the most successful touring artists of the last half century, today announced The Final Encore, marking the culmination of an extraordinary live career spanning more than six decades with his final tour.
The 2027 run will bring him back to some of the UK and Europe’s biggest arenas, beginning April 23 at Dublin’s 3Arena with dates at The O2 in London, Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Uber Arena in Berlin, among other dates across the UK and Europe, ending in July 24 at Hannover’s ZAG Arena. Support across the UK and EIRE dates will come from synth-pop pioneer Howard Jones. Jones will deliver a high-energy performance packed with his biggest hits like ‘What Is Love?’ and ‘Things Can Only Get Better’.
Rod Stewart said, “My dear friends, The time has come to say farewell to life on the road. After more than six decades, The Final Encore will most definitely be my last. I’ve been singing the music I love since I was 19 years old, and I’ve had the privilege of taking it around the world to all of you. It has given me a life beyond anything I could ever have imagined, and I hope I’ve given you some fond memories in return. So, may I take this opportunity to thank you for making this extraordinary life possible. I hope you’ll join me so I can thank you the best way I know how… with the music and one hell of a show. See you there.”
The Final Encore will celebrate one of the most extraordinary songbooks in popular music. The set will feature his evergreen and most iconic classics including ‘Maggie May,’ ‘You Wear It Well,’ ‘Tonight’s the Night (Gonna Be Alright),’ ‘Hot Legs,’ ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?,’ ‘Young Turks,’ ‘Baby Jane,’ ‘Infatuation,’ ‘Forever Young,’ ‘You’re in My Heart (The Final Acclaim),’ ‘Some Guys Have All the Luck,’ ‘Rhythm of My Heart,’ ‘The First Cut Is the Deepest,’ ‘Sailing,’ ‘Have I Told You Lately’ and many more.
For more than half a century, Rod Stewart has been a dominant force in music history, from fronting the pioneering Jeff Beck Group and the raucous Faces in the late 1960s to launching his solo career, Stewart’s iconic voice has been the soundtrack for generations. As a recording artist, he has sold more than 250 million records and singles worldwide, achieving 31 U. Top 10 singles (six #1s), 16 US Top 10 hits (four #1s), 11 #1 albums in the UK, and 4 #1 albums in the US spanning more than 50 years, from Every Picture Tells a Story (1971) to Swing Fever (2024). A 15-time Grammy nominee, winner, and Grammy Living Legend, and two-time inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
On the global stage, Stewart’s box office power places him in the highest echelon of live entertainment history, closing in on nearly a billion dollars in lifetime grosses. Over a legendary live career spanning from the 1970s through today, he has consistently ranked among Billboard and Pollstar’s highest-grossing touring artists, performing for an estimated 20 million fans across the globe. His live legacy includes a Guinness World Record-setting performance before an estimated 3.5 million people at Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach, a record-setting 13-year, 200-show residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and, more than 50 years after becoming a global headliner, continued status as one of the world’s top touring artists, with his most recent tour ranking No. 8 on Pollstar’s Global Concert Pulse in early 2026.
After more than six decades on stage, The Final Encore will give audiences the opportunity to celebrate Rod Stewart and the songs that have defined one of popular music’s most extraordinary careers.
