Thank you for using Double8Tickets.Com, London’s favourite ticket broker. Please check your tickets immediately on receipt, as queries should be dealt with within 48 hours.
We are the UK’s leading established ticket broker and have been trading from Charing Cross Road, London WC2 for over 25 years. We specialise in obtaining exclusive ‘first 10 rows’ and ‘impossible to get’ tickets for sold out shows, concerts and sporting events. Please note that you are often purchasing tickets above face value. This price includes service charges reflecting our costs and efforts in obtaining your premium seats. Please be aware that the ticket market is a very volatile and fluctuating market, and therefore ticket prices may vary wildly at different points in time.
Please also note, although we specialise in the ‘First 10 rows’ it does not mean all our tickets are in the ‘First 10 rows’. We have different options to cater for different budgets. The option for ‘First 10 rows’ is always clearly shown. ‘Block A’ does not mean ‘First 10 rows’, ‘Block B’ does not mean ‘First 10 rows’. Block behind ‘VIP’ does not mean ‘First 10 rows’ and ‘General reserved’ seats definitely does not mean ‘First 10 rows’.
All tickets offered for sale on Double8tickets.com are the property of Double8tickets Ltd. Double8Tickets.Com is not a facility or marketplace and does not allow third parties to list or sell tickets through the website.
All sales are final
Once an order is placed and paid for, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. Upon request we will try to resell unwanted tickets and, if successful, refund your money less a 25% handling fee. We are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets, and we regret that WE CANNOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ISSUE DUPLICATE TICKETS. PLEASE TREAT YOUR TICKETS LIKE CASH!
The client should note that the right to cancel or “cooling off period” provided by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 does not apply to the sale of event tickets. All sales are final.
In the event of cancellation/rescheduling
If an event is cancelled by the artist or promoter, we will refund the face value of the ticket only. If an event is rescheduled by the artist or promoter your tickets will remain valid for the newly rescheduled dates. If you cannot attend the new date we can offer to resell your tickets on your behalf however there will be a 25% charge upon resale. We do not have any control over these events. We will not be liable for costs of travel fares, hotels, or any other expenses that may be incurred if a concert is cancelled/rescheduled. It is your responsibility to ensure the concert is going ahead before travelling. We will do our best to inform you if the date has been changed but we do not accept liability if we are unable to contact you. We strongly advise that you check before making arrangements.
Delivery of tickets
We will endeavour to deliver your tickets as soon as possible. Usually, tickets will be despatched within 7 days from the time of booking. In some cases, due to the nature of the business, tickets do not arrive with us until shortly before the concert date. This is especially common where the tickets in question are general admission (standing) tickets, or specially printed souvenir tickets. These tickets are held back by the promoter as a prevention measure against loss of tickets, fraud or counterfeiting of the tickets. In extreme circumstances, tickets do not arrive with us until the date of the show. If the tickets arrive with us too late to be posted, we will arrange for you to collect your tickets either from our London office or from a representative at the venue.
Important ticket delivery update!
In the past few months there have been 2 new forms of ‘TICKET DELIVERY’ introduced.
- The first is ‘flash ticketing’, an app that you have to download onto your smart phone that contains your ticket.
- The second is ‘mobile tickets’ which is a ticket that is sent to your email address as a PDF. These need to be shown on your mobile phone at the venue.
- Then you have good old fashioned paper tickets (or hard tickets).
- Then there is the e-ticket (electronic ticket) that is sent to you in an email that you print off at home.
We charge a standard delivery charge of £9.95 regardless of ticket format. This is because there is a great deal of time spent making sure customers are setup on various apps.
Contacting us by phone – Important information
We are one of the few remaining ticket agencies who still operate with a phoneline with a real person on the other end. Our phone number is a huge part of our brand and is actually a very valuable phone number. There is no way a scam company would operate with a number like this or own it in the first place!! 020 88 88 88 88 is one of the most memorable phone numbers in the country.
A lot of our business is now done online however we understand the need/want to be contacted by phone. If you can’t get through (especially during onsale mornings) it means we are dealing with the rush of a new event going on sale and can have hundreds or even thousands of people trying to access the website and the phoneline at the same time.
To put it into perspective, when big acts go on sale, we have witnessed some extremely large queues for people trying to buy tickets during the general on-sale:
- Coldplay – 200,000 in the queue
- Tyson Fury vs Dillian White – 100,000 in the queue
- Beyonce – 150,000 in the queue
- And for Peter Kay’s comeback tour over a million people tried to buy tickets on the morning of his on-sale!
These are not our stats (we wish they were!) but it shows the crazy surges in demand you can get during a 2-4 hour period of a big event on-sale of which Double8Tickets deals in. Occurrences like this can happen any given day. Trying to get through to our phoneline during these times we liken to trying to contact your favourite flower shop on Valentines Day!
You wouldn’t panic and leave a bad review thinking your flower shop has disappeared and ripped you off because you couldn’t get through. In our business, once a month is like Valentines Day.
So please if you are just calling to check the whereabouts of your tickets and you can’t get through, don’t panic, please don’t wind yourself up, please don’t leave us a bad review thinking we have scammed you and have vanished. If people leave false bad reviews it encourages others to do so, which unfairly damages our reputation. We are aware of everyone’s order and will always ensure you have your tickets for the show.
We assure you that we are here and that we are working hard to fulfil every single order and continue to provide you with tickets for your favourite shows and artists.
As mentioned earlier, most agencies don’t have phone systems anymore because they cannot cope with the demand. But hear at Double8, we try to offer a personable service to lots of our valuable regular clients as best we can.
If your first choice of tickets is not available we will endeavour to contact you regarding an upgrade of your seats at no extra cost or a downgrade with a partial refund, or offer you a ticket for the same venue/artist on a different date. If we are unable to offer you any of these alternatives we will cancel your order with a Golden refund. A Golden refund entitles you to a full refund of the price you paid for the tickets, plus an additional 25% on top, as our way of saying “sorry we let you down”. We will also give you a free upgrade (if you choose to use us again!!) the next time you book. Odd numbers of tickets cannot be guaranteed to be together in the same row, but we will do our best. We will not be liable for any expenses. Please also note by purchasing a ticket from Double8Tickets.Com you are consenting to having your email address added to our mailing list. We will NOT share this information with any third parties. This information is for our use only. All prices are in UK Pounds Sterling and include VAT. (VAT no. 882 3824 01). Once again Lost or stolen tickets cannot be duplicated or refunded. Please treat your tickets like cash!
