Turki Alalshikh has officially confirmed the blockbuster showdown, bringing two former heavyweight world champions and long-time rivals together in the ring for the very first time.

And after last week’s huge launch press conference in London, this fight suddenly feels very real. 👀🔥

For the first time since the blockbuster showdown was officially announced, Fury and Joshua came face-to-face — and while there was plenty of respect between two men who have defined an era of British heavyweight boxing, the rivalry was never far from the surface.

Fury dismissed suggestions the fight had come too late, describing it as the perfect finale to two incredible careers and promising that when the bell rings, he has no intention of playing it safe.

🔥 Years in the making. One night to settle it.

The Principality Stadium will provide the stage for a fight British boxing fans have waited more than a decade to see. Fury and Joshua have dominated the heavyweight conversation for years — and now there will finally be nowhere left to hide and nothing left to debate. They meet inside the ring.

Turki Alalshikh described it as a meeting of “two of the best heavyweights of this generation”, with the event set to be promoted in collaboration with The Ring. A huge international undercard is also promised, with further fights still to be announced.
